Are there any Fall Prevention features included with the Medical Alert Service?
Remote answering features are available on some of VRI’s medical alert equipment. Remote answering is designed to keep members from rushing around the home to answer incoming phone calls. Say, for instance, you just sat down to watch television or read and your phone rings. Instead of getting up and rushing to the phone before the caller hangs up, you can remain seated. By simply pressing your Medical Alert Personal Help Button, you will be able to speak with the caller. It is thanks to this Fall Prevention feature that VRI members are less likely to fall from rushing to the phone. (Back to Top)
