It starts with the member pressing the Medical Alarm Personal Help Button worn around the wrist or neck.
PERS Device - Medical Alarm
The Medical Alarm - PERS device is connected the phone line. When the medical alarm
help button is pressed, it begins dialing the Care Center.
Redundant T1 Cellular Backup
We have redundant T1 incoming lines, along with a cellular backup system to provide for uninterrupted service.
Comdial PBX Redundant
The Care Center is proud to use the industry-leading GE Mastermind Monitoring Automation System to handle alarm processing with redundant servers and concentrators.
GE OH2000 Redundant
Alarms are handled by redundant Osborne-Hoffman OH-2000E alarm receivers. The OH2000 can handle almost every major signal format.
GE Mastermind Alarm Processing Automation System Redundant Servers
Dual Comdial phone systems are installed to provide uninterrupted service in the event of a system failure. In addition, all lines are recorded.
Care Agents
Family Members, Case Managers and Agencies can be notified by fax or email of every incident involving a member.
Community Care Agencies
When the Care Agent speaks to the member, all their important information is presented to them right on their screen. This assures rapid, error-free response.
