VRI Medical Alert System:
Industry Leading Response Time (average less than 5 seconds*)
We take our response times seriously and given we have our own monitoring center we measure response times daily. Most Emergency Alarm companies are satisfied with response times less than a minute. When people's lives are on the line that doesn't make a lot of sense to us.
Example: In November of 2007 we got a call from a woman who pressed her pendant because her grandson wasn't breathing. We answered the call in less than 5 seconds and got her connected to EMS immediately. Her Grandson survived but what would have happened if we waited another 30, 45, 60 seconds to respond to this alarm???
ASK OUR COMPETITION ABOUT THEIR RESPONSE TIMES!!!!
*"Response Time", as defined in the industry, is calculated as the time from the signal hitting the monitoring center systems to when the call is picked up by an operator. All other delays are determined by local phone carriers (typically 15 - 30 seconds for large phone systems).
