How does a Pill Dispenser / Medication Dispenser work?

1. Simply load the appropriate medication dosages into the 28 tray slots.
2. Set the internal clock.
3. Program the alarm for one to four times a day, depending on the medication schedule.
4. Close the lid, and lock if desired.

When it is time to take the next dose, the automatic pill dispenser / medication dispenser alarm will sound and the dose will rotate into position so it, and only it, can be removed from the medication dispenser.  Once action is taken to remove the dose from the automatic pill dispenser / medication dispenser, the alarm will cease.  If no action is taken to remove the dose from the automatic pill dispenser / medication dispenser, the alarm will continue to sound.  The automatic pill dispenser / medication dispenser system can, if desired, be programmed to signal the Care Center, who will attempt to alert someone, be it a family member or caregiver, of the non-adherence event.

Should it come time for the next dose the automatic pill dispenser /  medication dispenser reminder alarms again, and rotates the next does into position and moves the missed dose behind the lid to avoid a double dose.  The medication dispenser / reminder may be purchased or rented on a month-to-month basis.
